Technical Support PolicySupport Policy: Mastercam Maintenance Customers Customers who are currently subscribed to Mastercam Maintenance will receive, as a courtesy, free e-mail and phone technical support from San Diego CAD CAM, Inc. (On-site support is not included). Non Maintenance Customers If your company has chosen not to subscribe to Mastercam Maintenance - or if your maintenance is not current your e-mailed issues will be answered on a first-come first-served basis and could require a charge. If you require on-site support you will be charged an hourly rate along with mileage to and from your facility. On-Site Support All on-site technical support is billable at $125 per hour, including travel time. A company Purchase Order or Credit Card number is required before the on-site visit can be scheduled. Note: Using Technical Support for training is not productive. If your level of expertise is not at a level required by your production, then we suggest a training class. Post Processor Modifications: Mastercam Maintenance Customers Customers who are currently subscribed to Mastercam Maintenance will receive LIBRARY post processors FREE. Post modifications will be charged at $75 hour after the first free hour. Non Maintenance Customers Library post processors may be purchased at $150 plus modifications at an additional $75 hour. New Customers Library post processors are FREE to new customers. Modifications will be charged at an additional $75 hour after the first FREE hour. Custom Post Processors: A written quote estimating price and delivery will be provided to the customer only after receiving adequate information to write the post as listed below: 1.Complete and return the Post Processor Request Form. 2.The NC programming manual or copy of the manual for the machine tool may be needed. This manual holds the detailed description of address formats and the meaning of the NC codes. 3.A sample drawing or description of the type of parts that will typically be manufactured. (This helps to determine the complexity and feasibility of the post). A sketch or picture of the machine tool with signed axis labels for all moving axes on the machine. (This is critical for multi-axis and Router machines. For multi-axis machines, this includes layout details of the rotary axes, with angular limits of each specified. For Router posts, this includes details about aggregate tooling, drill blocks, etc, with details of the orientation of such attachments as they are mounted on the machine. 4.NC program examples of the functions you wish to be supported by the post. (Many times the machine manuals do not show the required format or your preferred format). Without adequate information it is difficult, if not impossible, to either create a successful post or determine the amount of work required to write the post. Once our Post Dept. receives the necessary documentation, a written quote will be generated and forwarded to you for your approval. System Requirements

Once a system is received, Mastercam is installed and we run tests to insure the hardware platform and its individual components work without error. By eliminating the issue of incompatibility, both software and hardware vendors help reduce troubleshooting and resolution. If the system meets our approval, it is deemed certified and then listed on Dell's web page as a supported and recommended system from running Mastercam. For additional information, click here. San Diego CAD/CAM, Inc. is now a reseller for Robotmaster.
Robotmaster seamlessly integrates robot programming, simulation and code generation inside Mastercam, delivering quicker robot programming. Streamlined CAD engine makes design work easier than ever before. Each piece of geometry you create is live, letting you quickly modify it until its exactly what you want. Traditional functions are consolidated into a few simple clicks to simplify the creation of even the most complex parts. Create simple or complex robot trajectories accurately without teaching points using Mastercam Mill or Router. The programming of the robot trajectory is done graphically using the same process and tools used for CNC machines, by selecting geometry (lines, arcs, part edges and/or 3D part). Once the geometry is selected, parameter boxes guide the user in making the proper selection of process information. The software automatically generates the robot trajectory based on the above information. Read more at......http://www.robotmaster.com/product.php For additional information, click here.
